On 14August Independence day PCB shared one of their video to appreciate and pay tribute to the cricketers of Pakistan. But fans started criticizing PCB for not adding Imran khan in this video. As due to Imran Khan Pakistan has Won only world cup in 1992. Just because he is the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and currently in crisis.
Apart from Imran Khan’s absence, the video did not mention the victories of the women’s cricket team, nor did it talk about Pakistan’s number one ranking in Tests.
While now their updated video came officially and it has Imran Khan included but again they made a huge mistake. However, this time the famous fast bowler Wasim Akram was not seen in this video. Who is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers in the world and the best left arm fast bowler. Now fans gonna tell them what they are doing. As they remove Wasim Akram now. They also shared some clarification about the video.
Taking to their twitter PCB tweeted ‘The PCB has launched a promotional campaign leading up to the CWC 2023. One of the videos was uploaded on 14th August 2023. Due to its length, the video was abridged and some important clips were missing. This has been rectified in the complete version of the video’.
