Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most handsome actor and talented one in Bollywood. Not just in India but many Pakistani people love to see his movies. Ranbir Kapoor talk about his previous experience of working with stars Atif Aslam, Rahat fateh Ali Khan and Fawad Khan. But he think that he will prioritize country over work.
He said in his recent interview ‘(It was not a big controversy) But, for me, films are films, art is art. I have worked with Fawad (Khan) in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. I have known a lot of artists from Pakistan. Rahat (Fateh Ali Khan) and Atif Aslam are such great singers who used to contribute to Hindi cinema. So, cinema is cinema. I don’t think cinema sees boundaries’.
While over his statement Pakistani People have showed their reaction. People think that he has a big audience from India and he can’t ignore it just for Pakistanis. A user commented ‘Let me give you all another perspective: Ranbir as an artist has to appease his audience first. And his audience, through the nations narrative, hates Pakistan. That’s how they think. It’s unfortunate but the reality. So you can stop firing ur words at ur own artists blindly – we’ve made some real good films on our own as well.’
Another one wrote ‘Obvious he is right, but our actors like Shan Shahid, Mehwish Hayat, Faisal Qureshi etc. are saying the same for ages. What’s the big deal here then?’. Another one criticizes him ‘When art has no boundaries then why are you combing it with country boundaries …if so then do not accept Pakistani artists in your films’.
