Celebrities react on news Woman sub-inspector’s suicide due to domestic issues
Pakistani Celebrities are heartbroken after they have heard the news of Woman sub-inspector’s commits suicide. While our celebrities have shared their own point of view over domestic violence. While they think that senior police officers are responsible for it. So lets have a look!
Woman sub inspector Rose has commit suicide just after bearing the domestic violence. She also left a suicide note for her mother. She wrote “Meri Betiyon Ki Shadi Kisi Insan Se Kijyega”. While after five days of her suicide Rose family came to front. According to them Senior officers are the reason behind Rose death.
Pakistani celebrities are sad over this heart breaking over this news and raise voice for the woman sub-inspector’s. Actress Urwa Hocane took her Tweeter account to talk over this matter. She wrote “Female Sub-inspector Mary Rose commits suicide in Pakistan & from what I gather of the story she chose suicide over divorce. When r we going to stop stigmatizing divorce & a woman’s basic right to live & breathe with her own choice? Why aren’t we talking about this?!What do we fear?!”.
Also Suno Chanda actress Nadia Afghan talk over the matter. Why society has made it so much difficult for a woman to take divorce and easy to commit suicide. She wrote “This was not a suicide she was murdered by our patriarchal society”. Also she said “She was not safe with in the char deewari. She was murder by her abusive husband”.
Also Yashma Gill took her Instagram to call this all a murder instead of suicide. She also said that mental health is more important rather than any other thing. She wrote “Heartbreaking to see. This is a reminder for all of us that mental health awareness should be made an integral part of this society. The lack of rehabilitation platforms we have here are scarce. We need to start realizing this is an actual issue and not “yahoodi stinks”.
Rose family reveal that there were two reason behind her suicide. The first one was the senior District Officer DPO. He doesn’t allow her transfer to Lahore for lack of police staff. And the other one was her husband. Who pressurize her to leave the job and move to Lahore.
