Sanam Saeed in her recent interview said ‘Personally, I am more of a Hollywood binge watcher. But the whole of Pakistan has been raise on Bollywood, from our grandparents to us, we know Madhubala, Kareena Kapoor stuff to now Deepika Padukone. We have seen all the generations. We have literally grown-up consuming Bollywood, the song, the dance, the culture, the way they eat, the way they do pooja. Hum sab jaante hai Indian mein kya hota hai (We know what happens in India). But India doesn’t know what happens in Pakistan’.
Sanam Saeed said that on the contrary Indians do not know anything about Pakistan. From Pakistani women’s clothing to food, the common Indian knows nothing. Pakistanis know everything and anything related to actresses from Madhu Bala to Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, but Indians know nothing about Pakistan or any.
According to Saeed, an Indian channel was opened a few years ago, then Indian viewers started watching Pakistani dramas. Everything shown in these dramas was surprising to him, but later this channel was also closed. Due to political tension, it is no longer possible for the artists of Pakistan and India to work in each other’s country. While its true that her drama Zindagi Gulzar has was super popular in India.
