Ushna Shah condemns Tedx for banning Transactivist Speaker. Actress Ushna Shah speaks up for Transactivist Speaker Mehrub Moiz after Maria B support ISL. She took her Instagram to shared her reaction for banning Mehrub Moiz. So lets have a look!
Pakistani actress Ushna Shah is currently taking screens in her block buster drama “Habs”. She recently took her Instagram to share TEDx decision of banning Mehrub Moiz. She raises her voice for banning a transactivist Speaker. While on the other hand famous fashion designer think that it is one of the most right decision till now ISL take.
Ushna Shah wrote “Absolutely Pathetic Read the thread I hope the other speakers walk out”. On the other hand Maria B took her Instagram praising ISL for banning Mehrub Moiz. She said that she is not a transgender but a men. “Well done ISL School! My Kids are at ISL. And we as parent will decide who are real role model for our kids”.
Maria B says that “He is a man transitioning into a woman into Pakistan. Openly on social media our kids need to know the difference between genderless and trans community. While over it Mehrub Moiz wrote “Is She for real? How many brain cells does she have?”.
While Netizens have showed their mix reaction over it some thinks that the decision is totally right but some have condemn as well for banning Mehrub Moiz. Seems like Netizens are also so much confused over this decision of TEDx. On the other hand Mehrub Moiz have shared disappointment over Maria B Statement.
Mehrub Moiz took Instagram and wrote “A no hold barred candid tete-a-tete with @sherkanmalik around what transpired today, my opinions on censorship, and the plainly absurd transphobia that is being spread by the educated bourgeoisie these days…. As visibility increases, so does violence. And the hegemonic always use moral policing to gatekeep alternative voices and opinions. It’s happened before; it’ll happen again. That’s the cycle of struggle for redistribution of power.”
