While Akram tied knot with his first wife Huma Mufti in 1995. Their marriage ended up after 14 years as they both have two sons Tahmoor and Akbar. While Wasim Akram first wife died due to multiple organ failure in Chennai India in 2009. While he recently talked about his eldest son what career he chooses in his life as a son of successful player of Pakistan. In 2011 he tied knot with Shaneria Thompson in 2011.
In 2014, Wasim Akram also have a third baby from his second wife they blessed with a baby girl Aiyla Sabeen Rose Akram, in Melbourne. Talking about his sons he said that he never ever pressurized them to do something. They have freedom to pursue their career where they like he never said them to follow his footsteps.
While talking bout his son career he said ‘My son has been living in America and there is not much cricket there. If he wants to be a fighter, then he must’. While no doubt we can imagine it true as Tahmoor has shared various post regarding his fights over Instagram.
