‘No We don’t wear skull caps, Surma, Tawiz Adnan Siddiqui reacts to Mission Majnu. Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui recently reacted over film mission majnu the way they have portrayed Pakistani Muslims in film is such wrong. So lets have a look more into this!
While Adnan Siddiqui is one of the most famous actor of Pakistan. He has appeared in numerous hit dramas Maat, Mere Pass Tum Ho and many hit dramas. He took his Instagram to shared his thoughts over the recent film Mission majnu. Adnan is totally disappointed from Bollywood films misrepresentation of Pakistanis and Muslims in it. They are just hating hate. As Adnan Siddiqui has also appeared in Indian Movie ‘MOM’.
Taking to his Instagram he wrote ‘How much misrepresentation is too much misrepresentation? Bollywood has the answer. I mean come on, Yaar with all the money you have, hire some good researchers to do homework on us. Or allow me to help. Make sure to take notes—no, we don’t wear skull caps, Surma, tawiz; no, we don’t ask janab about their mijaz; no, we don’t go around throwing adaab. There’s so much in #MissionMajnu that’s distasteful & factually incorrect.’
Moreover he added ‘The hero’s saviour complex would’ve accentuated more if the villain was shown at par. A weak antagonist embellishes even weaker protagonist. Poor story, poorer execution, poorest research. Next time, come and visit us. We are good hosts. Will show you how we look like, dress up and live’.
While the way he get disappointed form Mission Majnu and its purpose of spreading just hate and negativity among all Muslims and Indians. Not just Adnan but many other stars think that Indian always portray wrong concepts of Muslims in their movie. As Sanam Saeed recently said that ‘We people are grown up watching Bollywood we know everything about them., But unfortunately till now they don’t knows any thing about Pakistanis’.
